Gymnastics

At the age of 3, Lina began artistic gymnastics at Brantford Gymnastics Academy. By the age of 7, she was competitively ranked. Taking a break to focus on violin, Lina returned to the sport with a newfound intense passion at 12 years old and a determination to compete internationally. Shifting her focus to Aerobic Gymnastics, she did just that; ranking 3rd provincially at 15 in the group category and making the national team the following year. She continued to plow forward towards her goal and in 2017, at the age of 16, ranked 1st nationally in the trio category, attended national training camp, and qualified to represent Canada in both Trio and Individual routines at the ANAC World Championship; she ranked 6th in trio. She also coached youth artistic gymnastics for 4 years.
